2025-06 Public Reprimand of John Ryan
2025-06
The Supreme Court of Minnesota ordered a public reprimand against Attorney John Ryan on June 16, 2025. That order, a Stipulation, and a Petition, which are incorporated into this reprimand as pages 2 through 10, form a basis upon which reciprocal discipline could be sought and imposed pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 22.22. Rather than go through the complaint process, Attorney Ryan has consented to the imposition of a public reprimand.
The Supreme Court of Minnesota found that Attorney Ryan violated the following Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct: 5.5(a) (engaging in the unauthorized practice of law), 5.5(b)(1) and (2) (establishing a systematic and continuous presence in Minnesota for the practice of Minnesota law while not being admitted to practice in Minnesota, and holding himself out as admitted to practice law in Minnesota), and 8.4(d) (engaging in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice).
Attorney John Ryan has no prior discipline.
In accordance with SCR 22.09(3), Attorney John Ryan is hereby publicly reprimanded.
Dated this 13th day of November, 2025.
